Click below for the comprehensive changes to the collective bargaining agreement between UMass Amherst and GEO-UAW2322. The ratification vote shall be held Tuesday May 1 from 9AM to 1PM in the Cape Cod Lounge of the UMass Student Union and then from 1PM-5PM in the GEO office at 201 Student Union. All graduate student employees in the bargaining unit who are covered by this proposed agreement are eligible to attend the meeting and vote. Just like the last contract, the proposed collective bargaining agreement, if ratified, shall require payment of a service fee as a condition of employment. The current agency fee rate is 1.81%. As your exclusive bargaining agent’s most recent financial report is available in the form of a balance sheet and operating statements listing all receipts and disbursements of the previous financial year is available for inspection.
