Fellow workers,
This is just a reminder that TODAY at 2:30 at Haigis Mall GEO will be rallying in support of our bargaining demand for cost of living wage increases! We need a huge showing so that UMass knows that grad workers and the UMass community stand with GEO in pushing UMass to take a bold, proactive role in addressing the housing crisis (that UMass itself has directly contributed to). Bring your friends, signs, and enthusiasm! See you there!
Then, tomorrow, March 8, from 10-12pm, GEO will once again have a bargaining session with the administration! We’ll be meeting in LGRC A112. All members in good standing are welcome–and encouraged–to attend. Our strength is in our numbers! We hope to see you there. And if you’ve been to a session before–bring three friends!
