Hi all,

We have our next bargaining session on 27th November, Monday, 1-3 LGRC A112. This is a very important session for members to attend as we are passing our wage and housing proposal to management. We have been living in severe hardship and rent burden for a long time. This is an impossible situation and we need more from the university. We need as many members in the room as possible to communicate to management the urgency of our wage and housing proposal, and our immediate need for a living wage and decent housing is to us. We need collective strength to display our commitment toward these basic demands for our livelihood. So please make sure you come and get 6 friends with you. Tell folks in your department to come to the session as well.

We know this is the session right after the Thanksgiving break, but make sure to mark it in your calendar so that you can be there. If you are not in town, send this email to your friends personally and ask them to come. Ultimately bargaining is not based on the strength of our proposals but on the presence, testimonies and participation of members. So make sure to be there, spread the word, and bring folk along!
