Fellow workers,
Last night at GEO’s monthly general membership meeting, elections concluded for the two opening paid Bargaining Committee positions. 220 GEO members voted, about 13% of those eligible to participate in this election. The Elections Committee thanks all nominees and voters for participating in this important democratic process! Congratulations to the two candidates who were elected to the Bargaining Committee:

We would also like to remind everyone that, per GEO bylaws, the Bargaining Committee can include an unlimited number of volunteer members. Anyone who wants to get involved can do so! If you’re interested in helping out with drafting and/or organizing a contract campaign, write to bargaining!
