Fellow workers,

Bargaining session #9 is tomorrow, Friday, February 15th 10am-12p in Campus Center room 905, and ALL GRADUATE STUDENT WORKERS are urged to attend!

As always, come when you can and leave when you have to! While showing up in person is a much stronger signal to the admin bargaining team, there is also a zoom option if you cannot make it.

Over 1,300 people have already signed on to the UMass Amherst Grad Students Demand A Living Wage! petition — a testament to the amazing work that everyone on the campaign team has done — phone banking, texting, and doing walkthroughs, to talk with workers campus-wide! This shows that we are on a great track to win a big contract this semester! If you haven’t done so, sign on today!

At the bargaining session tomorrow, GEO will pass several counter proposals and our new changes to the Health and Safety Article, which would add more protections against workplace hazards and make the University more accessible and equitable for all!

In solidarity,
The GEO Bargaining Committee
